high-quality products, seeking constant improvement so as
to best meet our clients’ expectations.
The Company manufactures and trades pulp and paper. Its four
industrial units, located in Paraná and Santa Catarina
States, produce pulp,
mechanical
pulp, Paraná
cardboard, papers
and multiwall
paper sacks.
Iguaçu is responsible for all the wood production
cycle, from the forest to the final product. That is why it
manufactures and trades all wood products with guaranteed
quality and services to customers in different industries.
Located in Paraná and Santa Catarina States, the Company
’s forests have 26,000 hectares of reforested pine and
eucalyptus trees. The reforestation process follows a rigorous
environmentally responsible
policy toward natural resources, preserving native forests,
managing solid waste and effluent treatment, in addition to
following a forest enhancement plan.
Each industrial unit is specialized in one line of product
and counts on a technical team focused on creating new products
to meet the specific needs of each client.
Today Iguaçu is the major domestic supplier of unbleached
softwood pulp and of One time Carbonizing (OTC, also known
as base for carbon) paper and one of the four leading Brazilian
manufacturers of multiwall paper sacks, in addition to exporting
to the five continents. The Company generates 1,100 direct
and 3,000 indirect jobs, thus effectively contributing to
the environmental balance in the areas it operates.
